How do I register for a seminar?
All registrations must be completed online by visiting our Seminars/Register. Payment can be submitted securely online, or a check for the registration fee can be mailed to us – instructions are detailed during your online registration.
Where are the seminars held?
VDENT seminars are held at the NIU (Northern Illinois University) Hoffman Estates Conference Center, which is located at 5555 Trillium Boulevard, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192.
What should I wear for the seminar?
Dress comfortably. Participants in the Dentistry 201 seminar may wish to bring a scrub top to wear during the laboratory session.
What do I need to bring with me to the seminar?
All equipment for the laboratory will be provided. Participants in the Dentistry 201 seminar may wish to bring magnification and a scrub top to wear during the laboratory session. Login to view/print a PDF of the seminar materials if you wish to have them with you during the seminar.
I am travelling from out of state. Which airport should I fly into?
We recommend flying into O’Hare International Airport, which is approximately 18 miles from the conference center.
What hotels are nearby?

Do I need to rent a car?
Participants often find it convenient to have access to a car while staying in the area for VDENT seminars.
Some hotels may provide shuttle service to and from the airport and/or the campus – confirm this information with your hotel when booking.
The area around the campus is served by the PACE bus system. Your hotel will have additional information on local transportation, such as taxi services.
Are the seminars tax deductible?
Expenses associated with attendance at a CE seminar are usually tax-deductible. Consult your tax advisor for details.
How can I get a copy of my attendance certificate for my records?
You can access your attendance certificate by logging in to our website. The certificate will be available to view/print upon completion of the seminar.
Will the CE hours be accepted by my state board?
VDENT is an American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE-approved provider of CE. States retain their right to refuse, partially or in full, any program that RACE approves as per their particular state regulation(s). We strongly advise participants to check with their state board to verify that a given program is applicable to their re-licensure.

What is the seminar registration cancellation policy?
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Seminar fees will be refunded as follows:
- 31 or more days prior to the seminar date: 100% refund
- 15-30 days prior to the seminar date: 75% refund
- 14 or fewer days prior to the seminar date: no refund
In lieu of cancellation, consider transferring the registration to another individual from your practice. There are no additional fees to transfer the registration.
In the unlikely event that a program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, VDENT will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
