About Dr. Shepard:

Dr. Molly Shepard is a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist, certified canine rehabilitation practitioner and certified veterinary acupuncturist at MedVet Chicago. Dr. Shepard is an alumna of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2007. Following veterinary school, Dr. Shepard went on to complete a yearlong Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, as well as a three-year Residency in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, before completing her board-certification in 2012.

Prior to her time in Chicago, Dr. Shepard spent several years as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Shepard regularly presents lectures on veterinary anesthesia and analgesia on a local, national and international level, including presentations at the World Congress of Veterinary Anesthesia and International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Conference.
