Two days of lecture and wet labs focusing on feline dentistry. For veterinarians.
Day one begins with interactive lecture topics, including:
- Clinically relevant maxillofacial and tooth anatomy
- Pain management
- Dental radiograph interpretation
The afternoon wet lab will allow participants to have hands on instruction and practice in obtaining diagnostic dental radiographs.
Day two lecture topics include:
- Feline gingivostomatitis
- Oral tumors
- Surgical extractions
- Complications of extractions
The afternoon wet lab will teach participants how to complete oral surgery to extract teeth and retrieve fractured root tips.
All equipment for the laboratory will be provided. Participants may wish to bring magnification and a scrubtop.
Registration fee includes: Breakfast, lunch, refreshments, seminar, seminar notes, and continuing education credits.
