Days one and two: Canine Dentistry

Day three: Anesthesia Safety for the Dentistry Patient
- General anesthesia monitoring: If you don’t look for trouble, you can’t prevent it!
- Blood pressure management under general anesthesia: Think beyond the fluid bolus
- Post-anesthetic patient comfort: differentiating dysphoria from pain
- Identifying and managing cardiac arrhythmias under general anesthesia
- The heart of the matter: anesthesia for patients with cardiovascular disease
- Take a breath and count to ten: anesthesia for patients with respiratory dysfunction
- Anesthesia for patients with endocrine, hepatic or renal insufficiency
- It’s a delicate balance: anesthesia for pediatrics and very small adult canine and feline patients
Days four and five: Feline Dentistry

All equipment for the laboratory will be provided. Participants may wish to bring magnification and a scrubtop.
